My family loves to hunt, especially deer. So in this entry I will wright about the day in the life of a deer hunter.
Every year, around the middle of October, my dad, uncle, grandpa, and I go to
Twisp, In eastern Washington. There we meet my cousins at our cabin on
Twisp River Road. The next morning we wake up at 6:00 and eat something small. Then we get are coats on, grab are rifles, and head to the truck. After we get to were where going to hunt, we get out and decide what to do. Where we hunt depends on what kind of day it is. If it's a nice day, the deer will be moving around, finding food. But if it's a day where it's raining or snowing, the deer will be hunkered down waiting out the weather. After we hike up to the top of the mountain were on( stopping to glass the hillside every now and then ) we stop to for a while to see if any deer move around. If no deer come in a half an hour to forty-five minutes, we head back down. Now if we got a deer, we would have to gut it, But
I'll save that for next week.
