One of my favorite books, probably my favorite, is Lord of the Flies. This book is about a group a orphaned boys who's airplane crashes on an island in the middle of the Pacific. After they recover, they pick a leader. The leader finds a conch shell, which is used in meetings. Any person who is holding the conch, can speak. Any one without the conch can't speak except the leader. After awhile, a group of the boys split of and start to become savages. They trey to bring other boys into the tribe, and also tease and torment the younger boys. Finally at the end, if the boys hadn't died (three did) then they had joined the savages. Except for one. The leader. So the savages trey to kill him. They try and try again, but they can't. Finally they burn the island. The old leader then has to flee and they chase him across the island. When they get to the other side and there just about to kill him, they spot a man on the beach. The man is a Navy captain, and he takes them aboard. And that was the end of the book.
That is way this is my favorite book.
